When to use ILL
You can request books or articles. Books can take up to 2 weeks to receive and articles generally take between 1-2 days.
When you request books, please check the Library Catalog before requesting through ILL.
When requesting articles, please check the Full Text Periodical List and search for the Journal, Magazine or Newspaper title to see if we have it in print or online in full text.
Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) is a service that allows library users to request materials not owned by the Dixie University library.
Creating an ILLiad account if FREE! By requesting books and articles through ILLiad, you have access to the materials available in libraries across the United States. Books will be sent by mail or courier, but you can get many of your scholarly articles more quickly through Electronic Delivery. You can get information about the status of your request by logging into your ILLiad account.
In the event that you forget your password, you will want to go to the "Forgot password?" link on the ILLiad logon screen. If further assistance is required, please contact the Interlibrary Loan Office at (435) 652-7720.
