Here is some information that might be helpful either to start looking for a college, or degree.

College Navigator: This site has finding the right college for your major. It has interactive maps to pinpoint school locations. Has step by step instruction to help you find a college that will fit needs.

Academic Info.: "Academic Info is an online subject directory of over 25,000 hand-picked educational resources for high school and college students as well as a directory of online degree programs and admissions test preparation resources (SAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, GMAT, USMLE, TOEFL). We also offer timely news and analysis of critical events including the Iraq War, Afghanistan Reconstruction, Hurricane Katrina recovery, the genocide in the Sudan, and the War on Terrorism."

US News and World Report: This site has information on the Best Colleges, Graduate schools, as well as how to fund college. It has a College Student page.

BrainTrack: "BRAINTRACK is a worldwide University-Index on the Internet. It contains information about Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges and other higher educational institutions from all over the world."

College Insight: "College InSight, an initiative of the Institute for College Access & Success, makes data on college affordability, diversity, and student success easy to find, compare, and analyze. College InSight is the successor to EconomicDiversity.org and provides data for almost 5,000 U.S. colleges and universities. In addition to college-level data, it features totals and averages for states, sectors, and other groupings of colleges. College InSight is both an easy-to-use consumer resource and a sophisticated research tool designed to help shed light on important trends and issues." (about us)

Peterson's Guide to Colleges and University: "Since 1966, Peterson's has helped to connect individuals, educational institutions, and corporations through its critically acclaimed books, Web sites, online products, and admissions services. Peterson's reaches an estimated 105 million consumers annually with information about colleges and universities, career schools, graduate programs, distance learning, executive training, private secondary schools, summer opportunities, study abroad, financial aid, test preparation, and career exploration."

College Atlas This site has information on colleges and universities both in the United States and Internationally.

FastWeb: "Fastweb is a great college-preparation Web site, providing information on colleges, scholarships, jobs, financial aid, and college life. The Scholarships section matches students based on institution, location, area of study, academic/athletic performance, ethnicity, religious affiliation, and activities. Results provide key information about the scholarships, including a description, amount, application deadline, and contact information. Tucked on the bottom of Fastweb's pages are links to excellent college, scholarship, and grant directories." (Choice Review Online, Dec. 2010).
